So true. I’ve seen the limitations created by worrying about such things.
On September 11th, 2010, from 6pm - 9pm, we will burn the Koran on the property of Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, FL in remembrance of the fallen victims of 9/11 and to stand against the evil of Islam. Islam is of the devil!
I’m so disgusted by this that I don’t even know what to say. I don’t understand how people can be so ignorant.
Please take a second to like the page in protest of International Burn a Koran day.
I’ve talked to people on this page a few days ago, it was terrible. I mean, I’m an atheist and I’m all about religious freedom, but Christians (the people in power) burning the religious works of the oppressed people just rubs me the wrong way. It pissed me off.
Oh, my god, I don’t even have a response to this, people are so stupid.
i’m a christian, and don’t agree with Islam, but holy. they have the right to exist, and i REALLY disagree with persecuting them by burning their korans(I’m so ignorant i can’t spell it, and too lazy to scroll up.).
I also disagree with islam=terrorism automatically, because I know that the religion itself doesn’t promote violence.
the burning…i just….i don’t get it. i don’t get why we whine about being persecuted, about people burning *our* bibles, when we would do this to other peoples religions? you just…no. not okay. I’m tired of people like this representing Christians to the rest of the world. Bullshit. WE’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS.
Agreed. Someone wrote a whole book about how Christians are being persecuted in America, just like Jews in WW2 (Glenn Beck has made that same statement a number of times). Here’s a tip: if your culture is allowed to burn the religious texts of another culture and have gleeful Facebook pages about it, you are probably not being persecuted by your government.
Alright. Its come to this point - I’m just going to respond with a tag or text that just reads “Seriously!?!?!?,” because there is no point in wasting my time thinking about how idiotic some people are. So…
SERIOUSLY!?!?!?!?
Stuff like this, everybody, is Audrey’s instant flashpoint to anger, just so you know. And reminds me of high school english classes.
hyperwhiteness:
(referring to language usage), a whiteness so white it destroys the aura of normality that usually attends white people.

I went to see Almost, Maine today.
Twas adorable and clever and Rochne and Chelsea and Cheyanna are just wonderful to watch on stage :P
and I like how I can get the whole cast to give me a line of high fives when I only know 3 of them
and I don’t like how 2 years later Zach still can’t just converse with me like we know each other
and I like how I immediately stop being bothered by this when I spy a hubcap!
:D
Day one in Decorah:
Climbing around ice caves and random trails that end in hills so steep I slid down on my butt and bare feet.
Then we went to Paul’s family restaurant and conquered Las Vegas, California, and dragon, and munched on monkey brains.
That night Paul and I waded our way through half of Beatles Rock Band.
Day two:
Helped Paul at Cho Sun (the other family restaurant)
Explored downtown Decorah (Which is bumpin by the way)
Watched a Celebration Iowa performance
where they did 2 Ricky Martin songs :D
Went to Rijumonji, a Zen Buddhist temple, and Logan showed us around and we rang the bell for good luck :)
Went to Logan’s to sample his “garden tonic” which consists of onion and garlic and vinegar and laaaaaarge amount of cayenne pepper powder :P
Fested and ate food at Nordic fest
(which I realized meant Norwegian, of which I am 1/16 :P)
Went back to Paul’s and completed Beatles Rock Band
Went back to downtown
Climbed up a fire escape onto a roof and watched drunk people
Climbed down
Started to walk to a park but had to turn around
It started raining
I jumped in puddles
Paul and Logan tried to hide in an alley
I saw and chased them
There was epic lightning
The power went out for a few seconds
and we ran like hell as the thunder struck :D
Then back to Paul’s to play a story game called Heavy Rain til 4 am
Day 3:
Woke up to go to parade. Pretty cool parade. Still an Iowan parade though, the last 50 floats were tractors.
Helped at Koreana’s for awhile, entertained a table full of costumers, learned how to make their salad.
Had to park Paul’s Mom’s car. A BMW.
Dramatic reading of Ragnarok.
Wandering, hiking in a park, now ordering pizza :)
That’s all for now :P
Kim from Matt and Kim does not wear bras :)
I noticed when I was watching their music videos :P
